Thanks to her Canadian chef boyfriend/diet consultant, Alan Wyse, 22 years her junior, Kim Cattrall is on track with her diet program.
In order to lose weight fast, Kim stopped consumingthe bread and alcohol. Here is a people.com sample of a Kim Cattrall’s day menu consisting of foods to help lose weight:
BREAKFAST - Glass of papaya juice; One multivitamin diet supplement, plus vitamin C; English muffin with a pat of butter, slice of aged cheddar cheese, fresh tomato slice and sprinkle of kosher salt;
LUNCH - Gazpacho with a wedge of French bread; 6 oz. filet of braised cod; Small side salad with olive oil dressing; Glass of unsweetened ice tea; Crème caramel for dessert;
DINNER - Glass of Chardonnay; Salad with blue cheese dressing; Chicken breast with green beans. All in all a very low calorie diet.
Kim Cattrall’s Workout
Kim exercises about 30 minutes a day. If she can’t get to a gym, she walks. Below is the 5 steps that Kim used to upgrade her training methods and weight loss strategies.
Step1 - Add Pilates to your regular routine. This works your entire body, without giving you any bulky looking muscles and is a favorite of the actress.
Step2 – Hire a personal trainer if you’re worried about losing your focus. Cattrall worked out in the past with Gunnar Peterson (core exercise equipment specialist) as her weight loss coach.
Step3 - Try the Core Secrets program. Personal trainer Gunnar Peterson uses this as the basis for the routines he works on with his clients.
Step4 – Do whatever it takes to keep yourself from snacking on bad foods. When Cattrall has foods in the house she knows she shouldn’t eat, she douses everything with a liberal coating of lemon juice to keep herself away from them. Remember you cannot lose weight without dieting.
Step5 - Learn to love sex! Like her “Sex and the City” character Samantha, this actress knows that sex is like doing cardio to lose weight and it is a good way to burn some calories and keep yourself feeling (and looking) great.
